My story
I’ve always been drawn outside. To the soil, the green, the quiet work of growing things.
It started with food. I wanted to grow my own, so I got a little nerdy about it, studying how plants interact, how they support each other, what they need to thrive. And somewhere in that process I started noticing the weeds.
Not as problems to pull out. As participants.
The dandelion pushing through the path. The chickweed creeping along the bed edge. The plantain growing where the lawn got compacted. I learned they were edible. Medicinal. That they had been feeding and healing people for centuries before we decided to call them weeds.
My garden stopped being something separate from nature and became part of it. I welcomed the wild in — and everything got more beautiful.
I wanted to share that. The wonder of it. The way it changes how you see the world when you know that the plant growing through the sidewalk crack has a name, a story, a purpose.
So I learned to press their prints into silver.
Each piece of jewellery I make carries the actual imprint of a real plant — medicinal, native or edible species that most people walk past every day without a second glance. Handcrafted by me, Zoë, in Vancouver BC, each piece is a tiny invitation to pay attention. To slow down. To remember that the living world is right there, closer than you think.
Plants have a way of finding us. The ones that keep showing up in your garden, growing along your usual path, appearing in unexpected places — they might be telling you something. Each piece in this collection carries the story of a plant. And sometimes the plant that catches your eye is exactly the one you need.
This jewellery is for the woman who is a little wild, a little grounded, and sees a forest in every sidewalk crack.
It was made for you.
